From 2009 EMS Week

Eggertsville Chief John Buttino and East Amherst Past Chief Michael Morris were on hand as the Amherst Fire Chief's Association recently accepted a proclamation on behalf of the Amherst Town Board. Town Board Member Shelly Schratz sponsored the resolution in recognition of the volunteer responders who serve the residents of the Town of Amherst as part of national Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week. Clarence Center Fire Chief David Case was also on hand to accept a proclamation from the Town Board for recognition to the response and recovery of Flight 3407 and the efforts of first responders from both Amherst and Clarence.
